Structural Design

End-to-end structural design for new construction — concrete, steel, composite or hybrid. We take the project from architectural scheme through to approved application drawings and tender dossier.

  • Preliminary design — feasibility, structural system selection, preliminary sizing
  • Design development — analytical model, load combinations per TBDY 2018 and international codes
  • Application & detail projects — reinforcement drawings, steel shop details, foundation details

Software we use: ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE (CSI), Tekla Structures (Trimble), AutoCAD, Revit.

On-Site Consultancy

Engineering presence during construction. Drawings never survive first contact with the site untouched — we adapt, detail and resolve on the fly so the design intent survives execution.

  • Site inspections at foundation, superstructure and finishing stages
  • Resolution of unforeseen site conditions (differing ground, geometry clashes, sequencing)
  • Review of contractor RFIs and shop drawings
  • Coordination with architectural, MEP and geotechnical consultants

Seismic & Base Isolation

Probi is one of a handful of Turkish offices with delivered, operational base-isolated projects. Critical facilities in earthquake zones — hospitals, data centres, heritage retrofits — need more than code compliance; they need to stay in service after the shake.

  • Base-isolated hospitals — Isparta and Tekirdağ City Hospitals, both in service
  • Isolator selection and design (lead-rubber, friction-pendulum)
  • Non-linear time-history analysis with code-compliant ground motions
  • TBDY 2018 and ASCE 7 compliance; performance-based design
