1. Who we are

This website, probi.com.tr, is operated by Probi İnşaat Proje Bilgi İşlem Merkezi A.Ş. (“Probi”), a structural engineering, design and consultancy company established in 1984 in İstanbul, Türkiye. As a data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), Probi is responsible for the processing of personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect

Analytics data (only with your consent) — via Google Analytics 4: anonymized IP, pages visited, approximate geography, device type, referrer, session duration.
Job application data — when you submit the careers form: full name, email address, phone number, selected position, and the PDF CV you upload. Sent directly by email to [email protected] and retained for recruitment purposes only.
Server logs — standard web server access logs (IP address, request timestamp, user-agent) kept for security and troubleshooting.

3. Cookies

On your first visit you are asked whether to accept analytics cookies. If you decline, we do not set analytics cookies and Google Analytics receives only aggregated, anonymized signals (Google Consent Mode). Only strictly-necessary technical cookies (e.g. your consent choice) are stored without permission. You can change your choice any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.

4. Legal basis for processing (KVKK Art. 5)

Analytics: your explicit consent (Art. 5/1).
Job applications: necessary for taking steps prior to entering an employment contract (Art. 5/2-c) and legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).
Server logs: compliance with a legal obligation and legitimate interest in site security.

5. Data sharing and transfer abroad

Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Ltd. and may be transferred to the United States. This transfer is performed in accordance with applicable safeguards and only with your consent. Job application data is not shared with third parties and is stored on Probi systems in Türkiye.

6. Retention

Analytics data: retained by Google for up to 14 months.
Job applications: retained for up to 2 years unless you request deletion sooner.
Server logs: retained for up to 6 months.

7. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information on its use; know the purpose and recipients; request correction or deletion; and object to automated decisions. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject “KVKK Request”.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
